The 80by80Club was founded while cruising on Celebrity Cruise Lines - Century in 2000. Over the course of the next couple of years and a lot more cruises it became apparant that many avid cruisers like ourselves were looking for an exclusive club to belong to where they could meet and share their love of cruising with others who felt the same way.
The original concept behind the club was to have 80 cruises by the time you turned 80 years of age. With a lot of input from the people we met on our cruises we realize the 80by80Club was meant to be for all avid cruisers no matter how many cruises they had completed or were able to achieve. So the club remains the 80by80Club but we will have cruise levels (10, 20, 30, 40 50, 50, 70, etc) along the way so people can be reconognized for their achievement.
Now it's your turn. As we form the club and determine it's direction we invite your to do two things. First, become a charter member...there are no dues, no membership cards and no meetings....just people who love to cruise and who want to share this love with others. Simply by coming to our site makes you an official member of the club. When you cruise tell others about our club and be a club ambassador inviting them to belong as well. . Second, complete the Cruise Survey and share your thoughts with us so wee know what is important to you when it comes to cruising.
